Cucumbers Are Ready!

Can you believe it? Only six weeks ago, we were tucking tiny seedlings into the earth,
and today, our garden is absolutely bursting with life!

16 POUNDS OF FRESH, CRISP CUCUMBERS HARVESTED!

While our students are taking a well-deserved short break, the garden certainly hasn't
stopped working. We’ve pulled in a massive 16 pounds of cucumbers, and the best
part? There is so much more on the way. When our campers return this coming
Monday, they are going to walk back into a full-blown harvest celebration!

What's  Coming Up?

It’s not just about the cucumbers. Our garden is a total success story this season:

Tomatoes: These heavy lifters are already nearly 3 feet tall and are just starting to
show off their first fruits!

Herbs: The basil and oregano are absolutely thriving, filling the air with the most
incredible scent.

On the Horizon: Keep your eyes peeled, because the okra and squash are
looking healthy and strong—we expect them to be ready for the kitchen in just
another week or two.

We cannot wait to get the students back in the dirt to see the fruits of their labor. It’s
been an incredible six weeks, and we are just getting started!
