Determination Through the Rain

Students from the Upward Bound program at Partners In Ministry recently took a trip to visit Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Although the day brought rainy weather, it did not stop our students from showing up with enthusiasm and dedication to their futures.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the campus, learn about academic programs, and hear more about what life is like as a college student. Walking through the campus and seeing the different facilities gave students a chance to picture themselves pursuing their goals in higher education.
Despite the rain, our students remained engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and made the most of the experience. Their commitment to learning and planning for their future was truly inspiring.
Trips like this help students see that college is within reach and encourage them to continue working hard toward their academic dreams.
