Students and staff in the Upward Bound program at Partners In Ministry recently celebrated National TRIO Day, a day that recognizes the impact of TRiO programs that support students in reaching their educational goals.

TRiO programs help first-generation and underrepresented students prepare for college through academic support, mentorship, and college readiness opportunities. During the celebration, Upward Bound students reflected on the importance of education, perseverance, and the opportunities that programs like TRiO provide.
