Students Gain Insight and Ask Questions During Town Hall Meeting

Recently, Upward Bound students participated in an engaging town hall meeting where they had the opportunity to hear from county officials and community leaders. During the discussion, students asked thoughtful questions about topics impacting their community, education, and future opportunities.
The event encouraged students to become more involved in civic engagement while learning the importance of leadership, communication, and advocacy. Through open conversation and meaningful dialogue, students gained valuable insight into how local government and community leadership work together to create positive change. The town hall experiences empowered students to use their voices and inspired them to continue making an impact in their communities.
