Delta Academy Engages in Fellowship and Mentorship at UNC Pembroke

Our Delta Academy group recently had the opportunity to take an exciting and meaningful trip to UNC Pembroke, where we enjoyed an afternoon of bowling and fellowship with the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter and the Omicron Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
This experience was more than just a fun outing—it was a chance to build connections, strengthen sisterhood, and engage with women who exemplify leadership, service, and excellence. Being in the presence of both the alumnae and collegiate members allowed us to see firsthand what it means to carry the values of Delta Sigma Theta with pride and purpose.
Throughout the day, we shared laughs, friendly competition, and encouraging conversations that reminded us of the importance of unity and mentorship. Moments like these help us grow not only as individuals, but as a collective, learning how to support and uplift one another.
At Delta Academy, every experience is designed to shape us into confident, driven young women. This trip to UNC Pembroke was a powerful reminder that leadership is built through connection, community, and shared experiences.
We are grateful for the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter and the Omicron Nu Chapter for welcoming us and pouring into us. Opportunities like this continue to inspire us to grow, lead, and serve with excellence.
