We are excited to announce that, with the support of the North Carolina Department of Instruction's 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant, our program will be bringing Book Harvest's Books on Break initiative to your students' summer program. Books on Break provides a fun and engaging way for students to expand their home libraries and receive brand-new books to practice their reading throughout the summer.

On Tuesday, July 15th, your child(ren) will have the opportunity to choose ten brand-new books to take home, which they can read over the summer and keep forever. Reading during the summer is essential, as it helps your child continue to develop the reading skills they have been working on all school year. This will ensure they are ready to start the next grade level when they return to school.
