At Partners In Ministry, strengthening the community includes helping families live in safe and healthy homes. Through the Rehab Outreach and Recovery (ROAR) Housing Program, the organization works to repair and renovate homes for individuals and families who may not have the resources to complete critical home improvements on their own.
The ROAR program focuses on providing essential home repairs for low-income homeowners, elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, and veterans who may face barriers to maintaining safe housing. By addressing urgent repair needs, the program helps residents remain in their homes while improving their safety and quality of life.
The Robeson County Essential Home Before and After Photos featured here highlight a recent renovation completed through the ROAR program. In the before image, the bathroom sink and surrounding fixtures showed signs of age and wear. After renovations, the space was completely transformed with a modern vanity, updated sink fixtures, new cabinetry, and refreshed tile work, creating a cleaner and more functional space.
Projects like this demonstrate the impact that dedicated staff, volunteers, and community support can have on improving housing conditions for local residents. Through the ROAR program, Partners In Ministry continues to restore homes, provide essential repairs, and help families live in safe and dignified environments.
Each renovation represents more than just an updated space—it represents renewed comfort, safety, and hope for the homeowner.
