Honoring Our Heritage: Partners In Ministry Celebrates Black History Month 2026
What a powerful day of community, culture, and reflection! On February 26, 2026, the Partners In Ministry (PIM) campus was filled with energy as our students, parents, and staff gathered for our annual Black History Month Celebration.
The afternoon was a vibrant tribute to the pioneers who paved the way for future generations. Our talented students took center stage, captivating the audience with a soulful musical performance that traced the rhythms of Black history—from spirituals to modern anthems of hope.
The highlight for many was the historical portrayals. Students didn't just recite facts; they became famous Black Americans, stepping into the shoes of leaders, inventors, and artists to share their legacies in the first person. Seeing our youth embody the courage of figures like Rosa Parks and the brilliance of Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett reminded us all that history is a living story.
Beyond the performances, the event served as a vital educational bridge. Parents and staff joined in the learning process, fostering a shared understanding of the triumphs and struggles that define the African American experience.
Events like these remind us that at PIM, we aren't just teaching history—we are inspiring the history-makers of tomorrow.
