S.Y.S.T.E.M. Students Visit UNC-Pembroke

SYSTEM Afterschool program students attended UNCP School of Education-in Pembroke, NC to participate in Family Free STEAM Day (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).  Approximately seventy-one students along with their teachers were actively engaged in exciting, educational, and fun, hands-on activities led by university faculty and students in the teacher education program.  From Catapults to Kids in the Garden, Paper Flying, Parachuters, Snap Circuits, Steam Day, to surviving The Quakes, events held each student’s attention from beginning to end.
