Partners in ministry, while ecumenical in scope, has strong ties to the United Methodist Church. Partners in Ministry came out of a vision for service from Dr. Melba McCallum, a Deaconess with the United Methodist Church. Recognizing the overabundance of churches and the overwhelming rate of poverty in her community, Dr. McCallum knew that something had to be done. Partners in Ministry was born out of the living room of her home in 2007. Now, Partners in Ministry is a growing and thriving ministry serving Richmond, Robeson, and Scotland counties.
