Community Spotlight

Ann Hatcher

Partners In Ministry (PIM) was blessed by Ann Hatcher, a Scotland County resident, who donated a 2010 Buick Lucerne to the ministry. Ms. Hatcher chose to donate to PIM because she felt the work is “ outstanding”.  Ms. Hatcher went on to say, “the concept of what you all do for young people and the outlet is wonderful.”

PIM is thrilled to have community members who give from the heart. Thank you so much!

Kelly’s main goal is to connect with community members to further educate them on DSNP benefits. Her mission is to help those in need live healthier, longer lives while connecting them with key resources in the community.

“Partners In Ministry is a strong community partner focused on alleviating poverty with the low income community in Scotland, Richmond and Robeson counties. Their main focus is to educate and provide resources on Housing and Youth empowerment”, mentioned Kelly.

Kelly works closely with community partners like Partners In Ministry where she sets up different types of events to educate beneficiaries while hosting and providing a fun experience. Some initiatives include bingo events and informative table tops at their Food Pantry while being able to donate necessity items to assist those in need.

Ridgeway went on to say, “Partners In Ministry is the “Light House” of the community in Scotland and Richmond Counties. The services provided by PIM are essential for community development. The coordinators and mentors are well-rounded and knowledgeable about the services needed to help the communities thrive, and whole heartedly devote their time to educate, support, and provide resources to help individuals reach their personal, education and career goals.

Ridgeway is the founder of B.O.S.S, Beautiful Optimistic Successful Sisters.
