Partners In Ministry’s Year-End Campaign 2018 didn’t end with #GivingTuesday. In fact, that was just the beginning!
Did you know that Scotland, Richmond, and Robeson Counties have an average child poverty rate of over 40%? Or that they also have an unemployment rate that is twice the national average while only having a 15% average college graduation rate? These are the statistics that motivate us as an organization – we want to create CHANGE! Whether it’s through our STEM-based after-school program or our older youth work experience and on-the-job training program, we strive to create a brighter future for our children. For our adults, we offer a housing program, a weekly food pantry, a computer lab, a thrift store,and referral services to help equip and empower them to build self-sufficiency. We are change-makers empowering future change-makers but we need YOUR help!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December 31st, 2018. We raised $1,500 of that just on #GivingTuesday, which was such a fantastic kick-off to our campaign! The work isn’t finished yet, though!
