Members of the Mime Team from our after school SYSTEM program performed for the Gateway District of the North Carolina Conference’s UMW! The event, a Spiritual Retreat for members of the UMW in the district, was held at St. Peter’s UMC in Hamlet, NC. Our children performed mime routines to two praise songs. Though the group was a smaller representation of the whole, they did a wonderful job! Several students had solos and the women loved seeing the children so involved in the words of praise.
The students received a standing ovation afterwards and several invitations to perform at other churches. We’re super proud of all of you! Thank you for your offering of praise and joy with the UMW!
